Food and entertainment

There are many places in Lovina where you can eat. From traditional food to Italian and American food there is something for all tastes. Since Lovina is rather a small village, you can reach practically everything on foot. Taxis or biker taxis can be called at every street corner. In the different bars that Lovina offers, different live bands play night after night to round off the nightlife.

  • Dolphin tour: Departure in the morning at 6.00 am at the Lovina-Beach, we take a small fishing boat out to sea.
  • Buddist temple: The temple is located on the slope of a mountain above the village of Banjar and can be visited at any time of day. It is the only Buddhist temple in Bali.
  • Hot springs: In the middle of a lush tropical environment, also in the village of Banjar, the hot springs are open between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm.
  • Lake of Beratan Bedugul: This is a nice tour to the peaks of the mountains, where you can visit the lake, temple and the various markets.
  • Cold sources: In the east of Singaraja on the beach lies the coldest fresh water spring on the island of Bali.
  • Menjangan Island: A place, west of Lovina about 2h away, where you can dive and/or snorkel.
  • Twin Waterfalls: During the rainy season of Bali these waterfalls offer spectacular views.
  • Kintamani Volcano: This volcano is still active and occasionally lets some steam rise. (Ideal for trekking to admire the spectacular sunrise).
  • Botanical Garden: A very old garden on Mount Bedugul. New is a climbing park in the tops of the jungle giants.
  • Butterfly Park: This is a special place where the most exotic butterflies live and are bred.
  • Diving: There are many fantastic places to dive in Bali. The east coast is mainly the most visited place for diving, there is an old Japanese shipwreck to visit.
  • Snorkeling: There are also many fantastic places to snorkel in Bali.
  • Fishing: Local boats can be rented half or full day.
  • Markets: The variety of Bali's markets is enormous. From small to big there is everything.
